Paloma came to Drake Bay seeking a slower, more nature-connected lifestyle – and found much more. Originally from Santa Fe, NM, she brings a background of art and jewelry. What began as a journey for life change, turned into a lifelong calling. She discovered her home in this rural, incredibly biodiverse region and feels deeply grateful to raise a family and do work that fulfills her. Her favorite experience is the Humpback Whale Watching Tour. Whether the whales are gently gliding or putting on a show, Paloma delights in them. Capturing them through photography is now a personal passion both for joy and humpback identification. Paloma’s passion for the ocean, humpbacks and all marine life brings a deeper sense of connection to those who join her. This work has given her a profound sense of purpose and hope for the future of our planet.
